Markerless Motion Capture for Golf and Baseball Swings
Markerless Motion Capture for Golf and Baseball Swings
Markerless motion capture tracks a player’s body in the video of a golf or baseball swing. You do not need markers or a suit. The software finds the player in each frame and places points on the body joints.
What it tracks
The points follow the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. They also follow the head, the hip center, the big toes, the small toes and the heels. These points let you check body angles and positions through the phases of the swing: backswing, downswing and follow-through.
What the player needs to do
The player stands in view of the camera for the whole swing. A single player in the frame gives the best result.
Live feedback
During capture, the points appear on the video as the player swings. You can give the player feedback right away in a coaching or training session.
License
